The Cross In My Pocket

Do you know anyone that is ill or is just having the normal everyday stress? Do you know someone that is chronically ill and is having a hard time dealing with their illness? Would you like to send them something that could make them feel better? Something that will let them know that GOD is always with them no matter how hard the times seem? How about “THE CROSS IN MY POCKET”?
“The cross in my pocket” is a plastic canvas cross that sits in a “pocket” that is also made out of plastic canvas. Also inside the pocket is a note folded up with the poem “The Cross In My Pocket” (Author uknown) written on it.

The heart is a symbol
of love and caring.
Compassion for others
and times of sharing.

A heart gives strength
In such a wonderful way.
That is why I carry
It with me today.

It reminds me of love
and warm feelings all over.
From a husband to his wife
or the arms of a mother.

So I carry this heart
to remind me of you.
I will always remember
that you love me too!!
